Encore Life Care was founded on a simple belief passed down through generations: care should always begin with compassion.
For Brian Rodgers, that belief started with watching his mother, an RN and pioneer in private home care in Maryland and Washington DC. They built a legacy of nurse-led, heart-centered service with impeccably high standards. A philosophy of holding true to “The nursing compass,” and that wisdom still guides everything we do.
Brian saw how care became less personal and more transactional. Encore Life Care was created to bring care back to its roots, where heart and professionalism work hand in hand.

Yes. Every caregiver is background-checked, insured, and receives ongoing training to meet the highest standards of care and professionalism.
Private home care provides non-medical support that helps individuals live safely and comfortably where they feel most at ease — at home. Services may include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and transportation.
Our nurse-led team conducts an in-home assessment to understand your loved one’s needs, routines, and goals. From there, we create a personalized care plan that supports their independence and well-being
